Brian Barrat - President

Patrick Patton - Currently a District Asset Protection Manager for Lowe’s, Patrick has been an AZORCA Member since 2007 and has been a board member of AZORCA since 2019. Patrick has been in retail LP/AP for over 18 years, worked as a volunteer in Law Enforcement for over 12 years with MCSO and has experience serving in various roles within the board of directors for several organizations. Patrick currently serves as Operations Director with responsibilities of website administrator, membership approval and communications lead for AZORCA.

Joli Schexnayder - currently serves the AZ ORCA Board as Secretary/Treasurer.

Brent Cohen - Is the Sr. Program Manager ORC Engagement for Amazon.com. Brent has been with AZORCA for 2 years and has 25+ years within the industry supporting Investigations, Threat Management, and Program Management. Brent also serves on the CALORCA Board of Directors and AZ Attorney General’s ORC Task Force. Brent serves the AZORCA Board as Fundraising Director.

Mark Holtzen - Is a 17 year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department, currently serving as a Detective on the Organized Retail Crimes Detail, Mark currently serves the AZORCA Board as the Law Enforcement Training Director.

Felix Ortiz - is the District Loss Prevention Manager for TJX, Southern Arizona Region and has been a member of AZ ORCA since 2007. Felix has been in Retail Loss Prevention for over 18 years. Felix also holds certifications in Retail Loss Prevention Management (LPC) and Organized Retail Crime Investigations (CORCI). Felix serves the board as a member at large.

Pat Marshall - Has been an Asset Protection Manager at Walgreens since 2005 and started the Tucson AZORCA in 2007. Pat still serves the Tucson/Pima County area as the Tucson CART Lead and the greater Board of Directors as a member at large.

Craig Abernethy - Civilian Investigator with the Scottsdale Police Dept, AZORCA member since 2023 and board member since 2024.  Craig was a sworn police officer for 20 years retiring, in 2018. Craig serves the Board as a member at large.

Detective Kyle Greene - Has been employed with the Town of Gilbert as a police officer since 2005. Currently assigned to the property crimes division where his main focus is organized retail theft cases and has been in this position since 2014. He has been an AZORCA Member since 2014 and has been a board member since 2017. Prior to law enforcement Kyle worked in retail security for Target for three years. Kyle currently serves the board in a member at large role.

Sean Payne - Presently employed as a Police Officer at the Tucson Police Department, where he serves in the Neighborhood Crimes Section. Sean has been an esteemed member of AZORCA since 2021 and has held a position on the AZORCA Board since 2022. With a remarkable 17-year tenure in law enforcement, Sean is widely regarded as an expert in retail theft within the department. Additionally, Sean has dutifully served as a member of the Tucson ORCA Board for over 5 years. Sean currently serves the AZORCA Board as one of the Tucson AZORCA Chapter “CART” Leads and Member at Large.

Ryan Puryear - Member at Large

Chris Grau - Is the Field Investigations Manager - ORC for TJX Companies (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods) with 20+ years of experience in LP/ORC Investigations. Chris currently also serves as a board member of NMORCA and WAORCA in addition to serving as a member at large for AZORCA.

Stephen Mares - Is currently the Metro One LPSG ORC Manager for the Fry’s Division (Kroger), he has been an AZORCA member since 2014 and joined the AZORCA Board in 2024. Stephen started his loss prevention career in 2013 and has been doing Organized Retail Crime Investigations since 2015. Stephen currently serves the board in a member at large role.
